Review - TNA Bound for Glory 2008

Bound for Glory is TNA's Wrestlemania and we all expected something special. The potential was huge due to the impressive card. Unfortunately a lot of people are currently criticizing the company and question everything they do. Let us only talk about the pay per view though.

We did get to see a nice pay per view but it could have been more entertaining. First of, the asylum match was not really great. We did see Jay Lethal win it and this means he becomes the number one contender for a title that he did wear prowd. Now the X division championship match was the one that offered the least in TNA Bound for Glory 2008 (except for maybe the match with the Beautiful People). Sheik won with a simple move after there was a huge hype built around the USA vs Middle Eastern Countries feud. That is highly overrated and should not be a part of a wrestling ring.

Next on our Bound for Glory 2008 review list stands the Monster's Ball wrestling match for the tag team titles. LAX was incredible and it was probably the one team that was the most involved in the match, together with Team 3D. Team 3D brought back the flaming tables of the Monster's Ball and put Abyss through one. The Blueprint was also impressive. Beer Money Inc. retained the titles but only after Team 3D put Hernandez through a table that was covered with tacs. That was a really unexpected ending to the Monster's Ball. Congratulations to everyone involved in that match.

A lot of people thought that the match of the night was Kurt Angle versus Jeff Jarrett. Both wrestlers performed very well and we saw Jeff coming back to the ring with quite a bang. If it hadn't been for Mick Foley Angle would have won. Then we also got to see icon wrestler Sting taking on Samoa Joe for the title. This was again a match that was better than expected and Sting won again at Bound for Glory. If it wasn't for Kevin Nash coming out the match might have been a fluke and not that interesting. Sting is now the World Champion in TNA and the pay per view was better than we thought it would be.
